Marlborough Primary School is a large two form entry primary school set in extensive grounds on the outskirts of Macclesfield. We strongly believe in developing the whole child and our dedicated staff create a supportive, happy and secure learning environment providing our pupils with the best opportunities possible to achieve their potential.
We are looking for staff to join our Lunchtime team to be responsible for supervising pupils in the dining hall and other parts of the school during the lunch period. Meal times are a very important part of our school day and we are looking for people who can help us to make lunchtime a pleasant shared experience for pupils and staff.
The role involves supervising children during lunchtime, arranging appropriate activities during wet play and initiating and supervising play on the playground. Our friendly team of Midday Assistants supervise children during the lunchtime period in the dining hall, class areas and on the playground.
The successful candidate must enjoy working with children and as part of a team and will be expected to effectively apply the school’s behaviour policy.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children. The successful candidate would be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
We are also looking to recruit a Midday Assistant on a casual contract to cover staff absence. Our lunchtime is from 12:00-1:20 with a staggered lunchtime for KS1 & KS2.
Marlborough Primary School is committed to the protection and safety of its pupils. This post is, therefore, subject to a fully enhanced Disclosure and Barring check.
