Marlborough Primary School is a large two form entry primary school set in extensive grounds in Macclesfield.  We strongly believe in developing the whole child and our dedicated staff create a supportive, happy and secure learning environment providing our pupils with the best opportunities possible to achieve their potential.

We have a vacancy for an outstanding practitioner to support some of our most vulnerable pupils. The post holder will work under the direction of the Headteacher to provide the highest possible care to pupils and their families; liaising closely with external agencies. Ideally you will have a qualification in social care and experience working with pupils with SEND.

The successful candidate will offer a whole family approach to families with complex needs and work alongside colleagues to assess the needs of families referred for support. The role supports families involved in Early Help, Child in Need and Child Protection plans and other multi-agency meetings helping to ensure that children are appropriately supported and protected.
