Dear Colleagues, Parents, Students and Governors,
I write to thank you for your responses to the Trust-wide survey and to inform you of the outcome of the Trustees’ meeting of May 29th.
Following Headteachers’ communication of their schools’ mitigation plans (presented to Parents of nominated year groups) we had 850 responses to the survey. The headline figure is that 90% of respondents felt ‘reassured’ or ‘somewhat reassured’ by their school’s plans. We will now analyse the data and respond to the questions and comments with a Frequently Asked Questions summary and review plans accordingly.
Following their meeting this morning Trustees published this update to our position statement:
Trustees considered four factors that had been introduced since the last meeting on May 21st:

Trustees confirmed their approval of the timeline for extended reopening of schools from June 15th, subject to any change in:
Trustees agreed to meet again on June 10th to review these factors and receive monitoring reports on the delivery of schools’ mitigation plans and the provision of home schooling.
Headteachers will now share the survey results with their communities and, supported by the Trust team, continue to prepare our schools for the phased return of pupils in nominated year groups.
I hope this letter finds you well and look forward to meeting you in better circumstances.
With kind regards,
P W Rubery
