Dear Parents, Students and Guardians

As we approach the end of the term and a break from the very unusual circumstances of the past four months may I extend my thanks and best wishes to all the Trust community of schools.

It feels very strange to be ending a term without the usual celebrations and performances but my thanks go to the families and teams of staff who have maintained our provision, either remotely or in school since March, and to our students who have adapted so well to the circumstances.

The sense of community, through the schools in the first instance and the Trust through collaborative support has been remarkable – and we’ve learned a lot about the power of technology to support teaching and learning!

Particular thanks are due to our Headteachers and their senior teams who have prepared plans for creating as safe as possible conditions for a much welcome return to school for all in September.

Our key priorities will be student and staff wellbeing and responding to assessments of health and progress as we rebuild the year.

The next priority, however, is to take a break and recharge the batteries for the challenges ahead.

I look forward to meeting you all in September and a return to the features that make our family of schools so special.

With best wishes.

Yours sincerely
P W Rubery
